Helsinki Night of Arts

-note; I had trouble uploading this, so it is very delayed news…

We decided to go a bit too late, so we didn't get to see the earliest stuff. But we discovered many interesting things. Like the trapeze artist and drummer suspended from a large tree, random people doing tricks with hula-hoops, trick bikers with fancy pirouettes, and the most famous pyrotechnic group of Finland, Polte.

They had difficulties with their sound system, so after 45 minutes of waiting, they decided to do the show without any music. And I think they managed to keep the rhythm of the show very well. One can clearly see that they are the best of the best in class.

After this show, we went to Painobaari to get the warmth back into our extremities, and say hi to the ever-great bartender from New York, John. (we were lucky to get seats tho, it was very full).

Downside of the evening, was that YTV, the company that organizes public transport in Helsinki area, haven’t given a rats ass about arranging more busses and trains, on a night where there is over 100 000 people in the downtown area in need of going home.
